FUNCTION  THE  ASSISTANT DIRECTOR LOCALGOVERNMENT & RURAL DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT MANSEHRA

            The office of the Assistant Director, Local Government & Rural Development Department Mansehra has been established with effect from 01.01.2013. On the promulgation of Local Government Act. 2012 which was abolished under LGO 2001.

 MAIN FUNCTIONS

                              As per provision of Local Government Act 2012 the following functions have been assigned to the office of the Assistant Director Local Government & Rural Development Department: -

1.Office of the Assistant Director acts as a Secretariat of District Development Advisory Committee Mansehra, and  also Secretary District Council.

2.Controlling Authority/Principal Accounting Officer of Village /Neighborhood Councils in District.

3.DDO for all employees working in AD, office.4.Monitoring of Registration of  Birth, Death, Marriage and Divorce.

4.Delimitation for Local Bodies Elections.
